Where Have I Been?, you ask.

Well well, lots to tell.

Mostly I have been online with the lovely Miss Chanel McDannell planning our wedding in New Hampshire. It's funny when something "clicks" because it makes focusing on your life a little more unimportant.

I'd like to catch up on the boat show that I went to last weekend AND on the brew club meeting that we had last night with guest speaker Ben Potts the new head brewer at Dogfish Head brewery. But first, I gotta make this known about a girl that I once dated a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away.

I dated Chanel in college in an undisclosed year many moons ago. We had fun together. Much fun together. I cared for her and she cared for me. Somehow our paths diverged unexplainedly. There was no animosity. No pain. Just excellent memories. If there were any causes of the divergence, they were mine. We make mistakes. It happens. She on the otherhand is most compassionate and exceptionally positive not remembering my transgressions, or just too nice say and smart enough not to give them much attention because truthfully, I'm kind of simple.

So we have been catching up. And catching up. And catching up. She's awesome. I can't say much more than that because "awesome" says it all. One minor hitch is that she is in New Hampshire. Hmmm what to do? We are going to do what we have to do to get to where we want to be. There may be a long transition period where we are apart and having a long-distance relationship which will be difficult for both of us in many respects. It is going to work, that is all we know! It's cool. I have never felt like this before. It's new, challenging and intriguing. What more can you ask for?
